Interflow Team Member Performed with the Florida Orchestra

November 2014 – Claire Selman, an administrative assistant with Interflow, recently joined the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay and the Florida Orchestra for four performances of Carl Orff’s masterwork, Carmina Burana. The orchestra frequently performs in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater. Future performances can be found here.

Michael Walters Teaches-In

November 2014 – Michael O. Walters, P.E., P.G., P.H, recently participated in the Great American Teach-In.  Mr. Walters addressed five classes of varying grade levels in two Tampa-area schools–Just Elementary and the Dorothy Thomas Exceptional Center.  Mr. Walters discussed the field of hydrology, inspiring future scientists and engineers with depictions of the water cycle and a groundwater measurement demonstration.  “It is important to help kids know this is a career path they can take,” Mr. Walters said.

John Loper Presentation at UF Water Institute Symposium

Interflow Ranked #1 by SWFWMD

January 2014 – Interflow was recently ranked #1 by the Southwest Florida Water Management District for their General Engineering Services contracts RFP.  Interflow was ranked #1 in both the Watershed Management Program and Groundwater Basin Monitoring, Modeling, and Planning Categories!

Interflow welcomes Michael Walters to our staff

December 2013 – We are very pleased to announce the addition of Michael O. Walters, P.E., P.G., P.H. to our staff. Mr. Walters is a senior water resources engineer and hydrologist with over 38 years of experience in the fields of water quality analysis and modeling, surface water flow analysis and modeling, groundwater flow and contaminant transport analysis and modeling, integrated surface/groundwater modeling, statistical hydrology, and data collection/monitoring. He has been the principal investigator, as well as the project manager on numerous projects. His expertise includes all aspects of hydrology from data collection to very detailed analysis for groundwater and surface water systems. Mr. Walters will be based in our Tampa headquarters, where he will provide senior level technical direction, quality assurance, and quality control on several current and future projects.  Click here to view Michael’s resume.
