Interflow Selected for SWVWMD Project

July 2009 – The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) selected Interflow to provide professional engineering and scientific consultant staffing services for project support, evaluation, and related work. Interflow is the prime consultant on a team which includes Singhofen and Associates, Inc., and HSA Engineers and Scientists.

Article Published in Florida Watershed Journal

June 2009 – An article titled “Hydrologic Modeling: Choosing the Right Tool for the Job”, authored by John Loper, P.E. of Interflow was published in the Spring 2009 Issue of the Florida Watershed Journal.

Cypress Creek Watershed Management Plan

April 2009 – Hillsborough County selected the consultant team consisting of Parsons Water and Infrastructure and Interflow Engineering to conduct an update to the Cypress Creek Watershed Management Plan. Interflow will be providing continuous simulation modeling services and technical direction for the overall project.

Interflow Qualified for SWFWD Peer Review

April 2008 – The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) has selected Interflow as one of 15 consulting firms qualified to perform peer review for the floodplain analysis and related tasks in the District’s Watershed Management Program.

Water Institute Symposium (2008)

February 2008 – John Loper, P.E., presented a poster at the inaugural University of Florida Water Institute Symposium in Gainesville, February 27-28. The theme of the symposium was Sustainable Water Resources: Florida Challenges, Global Solutions.

The title of Mr. Loper’s poster is “An Integrated Model of a Hydrologically Altered Watershed in Southwest Florida”.
