Watershed Project Detail
Interflow is currently providing peer review services for SWFWMD's Watershed Management Program. Past and current reviews include review of floodplain analysis and modeling tasks associated with the Hammock Creek Watershed in Pasco County, the Weeki Wachee Prairie Watershed in Hernando County, and the Lakes Raleigh, Rogers, and Starvation Watershed in Hillsborough County.
The scopes of the reviews include commenting and making recommendations on often complex technical issues related to model development, calibration, application, and documentation. Interflow conducts detailed evaluations of modeling methodology, reasonableness of floodplain results, and adherence to the District's data format and level-of-detail requirements.
Each review includes presenting peer review results, attendance at public meetings, preparation of a peer review report, and preparing a detailed comment geodatabase. As a lead reviewer, Mr. Loper's responsibilities also include overall review coordination with panel members and the District's Project Manager. He is responsible for delivery of final review documents on time and within budget.
